WHO WE ARE

Justice For Ryan (referred to herein as ‘JFR’) is an umbrella title governing a variety of activity, fundraising and operations in memory of the late Ryan Passey, who was killed in August of 2017. It includes a non-profit organisation and attached community trust (the ‘Ryan Thomas Passey Family Charity’ or ‘R.T.P.F.C’) which seek to raise funds to further the aims of Ryan’s family and friends in fighting for justice in Ryan’s name, helping to change British Law surrounding knife crime, to support the friends and families of other victims of knife crime and other violent death, and any ongoing legal action and strategy regarding Ryan Passey’s own case.

This site, www.justiceforryan.org, acts as the official JFR website, and is here to specifically inform the public about the aims, goals and activities of the JFR campaign, providing news and updates in blog and video form, allowing persons to donate to the campaign cause and purchase merchandise, provide a calendar of upcoming events, as well as other important information and news.

The site will also provide links to, where necessary, various important external sites - including any relevant petitions or external fundraising sites, such as GoFundMe etc.

As a responsible, transparent organisation, we have no need, use or desire to use your personal data or contact information in any way other than absolutely essential, and only to the extent you personally agree.

In complacent with the recommendations and regulations of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), enforceable as of May 25th 2018, all members and visitors must OPT-IN or manually input your information before we will use your data to contact you, and we will maintain complete transparency within this policy and within our communication in how you can opt both in and out of any communication with us, as well as details on how to access what data we have on you and why, as well as request that data be deleted/removed from our databases.

Please feel free to have a read of our policy and discover the when, where and why on the data we may collect and use, and if you still have any queries or questions, or would like to request details of any information we may hold on you, please do not hesitate to get in touch at info@justiceforryan.org.
